SkinGP Is Opening a New Skin Cancer Clinic in Glen Iris
Updated: Sep 29
SkinGP is opening its second clinic at 1601 Malvern Road, Glen Iris, on track to open in October 2026. A dedicated clinic, with accredited skin cancer doctors, bringing the same standard we've provided in the Macedon Ranges since 2024 to the inner south-east.
Why Glen Iris
Glen Iris sits around 10 kilometres from the Melbourne CBD, close to Malvern, Malvern East, Camberwell, Ashburton, Hawthorn East and Burwood. Cancer Council Australia estimates that around two in three Australians will be diagnosed with some form of skin cancer by age 70, yet dedicated, accredited skin cancer clinics remain uncommon across much of Melbourne. SkinGP Glen Iris is built specifically to fill that gap for residents of the south-east.
The same standard of care
SkinGP is one practice in two locations, not two separate businesses. The same team of Accredited Skin Cancer Doctors, or doctors actively completing that pathway through the Skin Cancer College of Australasia, will see patients at both Woodend and Glen Iris. Every Full Skin Check at either location includes the FotoFinder system: full body skin mapping, high definition dermoscopy at up to 400x magnification, and AI-assisted analysis.
What services are available
The full range of services offered at Woodend is available at Glen Iris: Full Skin Checks, Urgent Lesion Reviews, Photographic Monitoring, skin biopsies, non-surgical treatments including cryotherapy and PDT, and surgical treatments performed under local anaesthetic. No GP referral is required for any of them.
Booking at Glen Iris
Online bookings for Glen Iris are now open. Patients can book directly via our website ahead of the clinic's opening in October, or call the clinic directly.
Full fee information is available on our Fees page.
