SkinGP is a private billing practice. Payment in full is required on the day of your consultation. We use Tyro EFTPOS terminals for on-the-spot processing of Medicare rebates for eligible patients. Cash payments are not accepted.

Our fees are reviewed annually, including adjustments based on CPI.
Skin Cancer Clinic Fees
Full Skin Check
Total out-of-pocket cost: $228.00 (all patients)
Includes: Mole Mapping, Total Body Photography, and comprehensive Dermoscopy Skin Check Consultation with a Skin Cancer Doctor.
Spot Check and Urgent Lesion Review
Assessment of one or two specific lesions

Medicare & Private Health Fund Claims
Eligible Medicare rebates for the medical consultation component of your appointment will be processed on your behalf at the time of payment, with the rebate deposited directly into your nominated bank account.

Please note that mole mapping and total body photography are not covered by Medicare and are an out-of-pocket expense.

Some Private Health Funds may provide benefits for mole mapping and skin surveillance under selected Extras policies. To claim a private health fund rebate, patients must hold an eligible level of cover and submit a detailed receipt directly to their health fund. We recommend checking with your insurer prior to your appointment to confirm your individual entitlements.
Procedure Fees
Procedure fees vary depending on the time required and the complexity of the skin procedure. Once it has been confirmed during your consultation that a procedure is necessary, your doctor will discuss the specific fees with you prior to proceeding.
Concession fees apply for eligible patients. Please enquire at reception.
